Project Description:

We were approached by the new owner of this bungalow who had visions to turn this tired and traditional bungalow into a modern, bright open plan living environment.

 

The scheme included the relocation of the existing bathroom & kitchen, hallway reconfigurations, and a side extension including a new staircase, large room with bifold doors, first floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom and additional ground floor bedroom.

 

In order to achieve the 2 storey aspect in the extension the ground floor was set lower than the existing house, this meant the new staircase lead up to the new first floor bedroom or down to the large new living room.

 

We obtained planning permission and building regulations approvals

for the worh to the bungalow and a detached double garage within the garden.
